Billing Overview

PingSLA billing is per-workspace, managed through the Settings → Billing section of the dashboard.

Billing Cycle

  • Monthly subscriptions renew on the same day each month
  • Annual subscriptions renew on the anniversary date
  • Annual plans include a 20% discount compared to monthly billing

Payment Methods

  • Credit / debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • PayPal
  • Invoice billing (Enterprise plans only)

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. PingSLA does not store payment card data.

Invoices

Invoices are automatically generated at each billing cycle and sent to the workspace owner's email. You can also download all invoices from Settings → Billing → Invoice History.

Upgrades & Downgrades

Upgrading

  • Takes effect immediately
  • You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period

Downgrading

  • Takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Resources that exceed the new plan's limits will be paused (not deleted)
  • You have 30 days to reduce usage before paused resources are archived

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  1. PingSLA retries automatically (days 1, 3, 7)
  2. You receive an email notification
  3. If unresolved after 14 days, the workspace is suspended (monitors stop running)
  4. After 30 days of suspension, the workspace is scheduled for deletion

Reinstate by updating your payment method in Settings → Billing.

Cancellation

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
  2. Confirm cancellation
  3. Service continues until end of current billing period
  4. Data is retained for 30 days after expiry, then permanently deleted

Tax

PingSLA charges applicable sales tax / VAT based on your billing address. EU customers: enter your VAT number in Settings → Billing to be zero-rated.
